Pixie strands are made of tiny (8/0) beads.
Permanent beads are tied on. These beads are great for a daily reminder of spiritual manifestation and well being. They do not stretch so they are also a great reminder for those who are determined to stay consistent on their weight/waist loss journey. PixieStrands
Elastic strands are made with a stretch-cord and metal barrel clasp.
Traditional Tie-On strands are made with cotton string. Strands are safe to be worn during all day to day activities, including exercising, showering, sleeping, and more. I do not recommend pulling on string with excessive force. You can remove traditional strands by cutting them off with scissors, except if tied loosely around the hips to be taken off overhead.
